VICTORIA ARABA MICHAEL
Legal Fellow
Victoria is a Legal Fellow with a strong academic foundation and purposeful career trajectory. She holds an LLB and is currently gaining hands-on experience as she works toward full qualification as a lawyer.
Her legal interests span criminal law, corporate law, and human rights with a particular focus on the protection of women and children. What distinguishes her approach is an appreciation for both sides of the legal system, she is drawn to criminal law for its engagement with complex social issues underlying offending behaviour, and to corporate law for its role in shaping how businesses are structured, regulated, and held accountable. She believes that strong legal systems must strike a careful balance between justice, economic growth, and accountability.
As a Legal Fellow, Victoria contributes to legal research, drafting, and case preparation. She has observed court proceedings firsthand, gaining practical insight into how matters progress through the justice system. Working alongside senior lawyers and engaging directly with clients has sharpened her professionalism, attention to detail, and capacity to handle complex matters with care and composure.
Beyond her day-to-day work, Victoria has written on contemporary legal issues demonstrating her ability to engage with evolving legal challenges in a clear, analytical, and practical manner.
Focused, disciplined, and committed to continuous growth, Victoria is working towards a career grounded in integrity and rigorous legal reasoning, driven by a genuine desire to make meaningful contributions to both the legal profession and society at large.
